-BIO-

Emily Miller brings unique style and artistic ability to her voice that makes her a stand out in the music industry. With each performance she offers enthusiasm, talent, and creativity in engaging her audience and performing a show that engages and stays with the crowd.

Emily began studying private piano at the age of 6. Her adolescent days in West Chester, Ohio were often spent listening to country hymns with her sister in the car, singing country music around the house, and participating in church children's musicals.  Emily took this excitement for music and devoted many hours of private lessons for voice and guitar. Extensive classical training awarded her many opportunities, recognitions and scholarships to perform at the Cincinnati Aronoff, Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music, Cincinnati Music Hall May Festival Choir, and as a soloist with the Hamilton Fairfield Symphony Orchestra.

Her love and passion to reach the listener with a story was brought from the opportunity to share her music at her home church as well as serve as a worship leader at many churches in her area.  She has actively led and taught music to all generations.

Emily’s love for her country is evident by her singing of the National Anthem.  She has sung the National Anthem more than 100 times for many different venues including Vanderbilt University, Belmont University athletics, the Special Olympics, and area Hospital fund raisers. One of the most heartfelt performances was when Emily sang the National Anthem for the world known Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Free Throw for Kids.  There wasn’t a dry eye in the room.

In 2014, Emily had the honor of acceptance as a commercial voice major at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee.  While she entertained many acceptances to prestigious universities throughout the United States her heart was only for Nashville.  Today, Emily is working hard in both writing and performance of her music. She is a “power house” performer yet her classical training offers a unique timbre in her voice. Emily has an old soul for classic country music. Her set list includes anywhere from Miranda Lambert, Reba, Dolly Parton, Trisha Yearwood, to Hank Williams Sr., and Johnny Cash.  She has worked in the music industry with public relations firms and has been trusted with some of the most elite country artist’s accounts including Jeannie Sealy, Kenny Rogers, Aaron Lewis, Moe Bandy, and Hank Williams Jr.  Knowing the artist and promoting their performances has allowed Emily to hone in on her own craft and developing style.  She has observed and invested in the most elite artists in the music industry.

While pursuing her higher education at Belmont University she also is actively performing, recording, and developing her name in the music industry. She has had the great privilege to sing at the Country Music Hall of Fame, Gatlinburg Craftsman Fair, the General Jackson Showboat, Music City Center and many other venues in and around Nashville. Emily’s dynamic performances have captured audiences in Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee and she continues to invest in booking performances wherever she can.  She is currently one of the lead singers of Belmont’s Bluegrass Ensemble. She is fortunate to have learned from and performed with some of the best in country music including Grammy Award winning fiddle player Tammy Rogers King of The SteelDrivers, Tim Watson - the Fiddleman, Kelly Garner and Sandra Dudley artists and vocal instructors of Belmont University, Michael W. Smith, and Sheryl Crow.  Beautiful talent, unique sound, and artistic demeanor will allow Emily Miller to make her mark on today’s music industry.
